Cesar
Castillo was recommended by local people at Villa Helen's when
my wife and I visited mainland Honduras in August of 2006. He
was friendly, straight forward, knowledgeable, and very accommodating.
We worked with him over the next few months putting together the
purchase of a beach front property in Balfate. As we were in Honduras
for only one week most of our subsequent communication was via
e-mail. It too was a smooth and responsive process. We worked
with a lawyer recommended by him and when the legal process slowed
he stayed on top of the situation until it was resolved, keeping
me informed in a timely fashion. When I revisited with my son
in March of 2007 he again made himself available to assist us.
Though my experience with him is limited I believe that he is
a sincere and ethical individual and would certainly work with

While my
wife and I were visiting Honduras to look at beachfront properties,
we met Cesar Castillo, a La Ceiba real estate agent. We found Cesar
to be very knowledgeable not only about what properties were available
but also the Honduran laws governing the purchasing of property
by foreign investors. We are from the U.S. and the real estate business
there is somewhat different than ours.

My
husband and I jumped into our project without knowing anything about
building in Honduras. Several people, including some local Hondurans
and Americans recommended that we work with Cesar to get a quality
job that would be priced competitively. We arranged for a meeting
with Cesar, who immediately gave us confidence in his abilities
and ethics. Together we settled on a design, a price and a completion
date, all with relative ease. We were able to “watch”
the progress of our little cottage being built by receiving email
images of our place. Any issues along the way were resolved through
direct communication with Cesar, who was available through phone
and email on a consistent basis.
We did not see our cottage in its completion until July of this
year. We walked into our place for the first time and our hearts
were filled with delight! Cesar built a very strong and solid structure,
that was obviously built to last a long while. We were so pleased
with all of the charming touches he had added in his construction.
Cesar had created our dream of having a beautiful little cottage
on the beach. Cesar obviously takes great pride in his work and
wants to be sure he pleases his customers. We have enjoyed working
with him tremendously.
